Q: What is the difference between coaching and counselling?
A: Coaching focuses on the future, action orientation and growth or skill development orientation. Whereas, Counselling focuses on the past, it is reflective and may be referred via Doctor / GP.
Q: How frequently do you suggest we meet?
A: It is recommended to meet every 2 weeks to ensure new habits are forming. This can then scale back to every 4 weeks. The timescales don’t sound a long time but bear in mind life changes very quickly.
Q: Do you make any guarantees to fix people?
A: No, I offer to work with people and provide coping strategies for specific situations that the person needs help with. Through adopting different patterns of thought and creating a positive mind-set a person can achieve great things.
Business Coaching
Q: What can you do for me?
A: I can work with you to set business goals, work on business plan and look at your HR procedures and staff efficiency.
Q: How long will it take to see results?
A: Results will be visible within 4 – 6 weeks, only, if Directors and management embrace change.
Q: Do you work in our office?
A: I can be booked to work from your office, or work remotely. In my opinion it is good to have flexibility.
