Personally, I highly recommend that if someone is seeking to work with a Coach, they ensure the Coach is registered.  This can be via Associations such as;

• AC UK – Association For Coaching UK
• ICF – International Coaching Federation
• EMCC – European Mentoring and Coaching Council
• APEX- Association Professional Executive Coaches
• BPS – British Psychological Society
• CIPD – Chartered Institute of Personnel Development
• BACP – British Association Coaching Practitioners

A registered Coach will have shown evidence to the Association of their competence, experience and qualifications.  They also need to adhere to a Code of Ethics when joining an Association.

I cover both Life/Personal and Business Coaching.  I am a registered Coach and hold the position of Head of Operations for Association For Coaching UK (Scotland).
